It has been remarkable to see Chara progress from the empty bar to some very heavy weights over the past two years. At Youth Nationals this summer Chara finished fourth in Snatch lifting 37kg (82lb). In training she has back squatted 65kg (143lbs) for three reps and front squatted 55kg (121lbs) for three.In weightlifting class Chara serves as role model for the younger girls to look up to. She helps out and demonstrates to the younger students frequently. She is truly a pleasure to work with and have on my weightlifting team .[caption id="attachment_544" align="alignnone" width="300"]
