Started Crossfit in 2012 (thanks to Groupon) and started weightlifting with Ryan 91 weeks ago.How did you get involved in weightlifting/CrossFit? I got involved with Crossfit because CFWC had a 10 class deal with Groupon for $80! I was hooked as soon as Jimmy Wiser used me to demonstrate an air squat for the class! My air squat continues to be one of my strongest movements to date. I always saw Ryan wandering around the gym in his sweater and watching the crossfitters lift. I was intrigued. I finally began weightlifting with Ryan when I realized how awful I was at Olympic lifts. He then offered to work with Ashley and I at the same time for half the price. Ryan started to pay more attention to me during our ½ hour sessions (sorry Ashley ☺) and that’s when I decided to get my own programming.
