Remote coaching is something our team has been offering for years now but during the COVID-19 pandemic some great lessons were learned to improve our processes!

  1. Daily feedback and communication is needed to turn "remote programming" into remote coaching. Coaching software like TrueCoach allows for much easier daily feedback and critique - whether that is to push a particular exercise harder, make a technical change, or just provide encouraging words or goals. This is one of the areas where technology can really improve upon something.

  3. Consistency is the largest factor in weightlifting success over the long term. Coaching software that can send email reminders and provides athletes/coaches with metrics for missed workouts and help with accountability, this improving consistency and performance in the long-run.
